I was charged with modernizing the design of the menu boards and utilizing magents for the menu items, so that any change in price or vendor information could be easily updated.

 



Research

I needed a way to group menu items without a header. After a quick search on my phone, a few image captures provided me with enough inspiration for several different layouts.

 


Concepts

The client requested that the menus incorporate a new Oregon Ducks logo with a vintage feel. I wanted the menu boards to appear retro but remain appropriate for a college football venue. I needed to allow for the magnet "blocks" to look purposeful and integrated on top of the base design.
